Be Inspired by the Spring in Scandinavia

Last year, during May, I was in Australia and witnessed the autumn in Melbourne. This year, in May I was in Scandinavia, witnessing the extremely short spring, or the turning of winter to summer in a couple of days. How inspiring can that be! I saw the lilacs burst into bloom in a day.

I have never seen so many Bird Cherry trees as I saw this year in Sweden and then in Finland. They were everywhere and full in bloom with they white flowers. The scent of lilacs was so strong that I could not escape it the whole time. How invigorating!

The meadows were full of flowers, like I have never remembered and the pine trees had such long growth spurs that I was totally amazed.

The gardeners in Scandinavia seem to have really done a good job at choosing the colours for the tulip arrangements around the place. Pink and purple was the colour of the year, and I even saw black tulips around. How fascinating was that!

And the Rhododendrons were represented in many colours as well, in every place. I was totally taken by them.

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful spring in Scandinavia. Both Sweden and Finland presented me their best. It is so inspiring and that is why I am telling you so!

Be inspired by the spring, be inspired by everything!

Be Inspired to Start a My Daily Good Things Jar For 2013

So, it is the last day of Christmas and the last day to make a valid New Years Resolution. Even though we all know that many resolutions are made only to be broken by the end of the month, it is still inspiring to think about a new beginning.

Today, I read from the paper that people should clean and unclutter their house in New Year, too. It is all about filing away the gone year and bringing in the new.

Well, this year I have been really inspired by the idea of starting a My Daily Good Things Jar. It is all due to the power of Facebook and Social Networking with friends.

Someone posts something really inspiring and you find it resonates with your life situation and you do it. Without thought. Just go to the shop and buy the biggest glass jar you can get and decorate it with a label and get some notes and start filling it with all the good things that happen each day. It will help you to focus and in few weeks, it will be a habit.

Positive habits are something that we need for more inspiration. Research shows that positive frame of mind is beneficial to our mental growth and to anything we do. It also enhances our physical health.

So, go for it! Start the My Good Things Jar, today. It comes highly recommended.
